Encore: Gently We Row

The concert was great as always. I was lucky enough to have 1st row, center tickets! She rocked for 2 hrs. and 45 min., and her voice sounded strong. I saw her in Charlotte also and there I thought maybe her voice was a little more strained. However, in Charlotte I thought she had more of a rapport with the audience and was more playful with her band. I don't think it helped with the set up of the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC) that it limited the crowd from getting close to the stage except for those of us in the front row. She looked better in Durham...more rested maybe. Or maybe just the outfit she had on was more flattering and there was less humidity.

I know, not much of a musical review.....but we all know she rocks it!

I thought the show was awesome. The DPAC is a great place to see Melissa there is no nose bleed seats in that place. Melissa seemed to be impressed with DPAC and kept mentioning it, hopefully she will come back. It was nice not to travel to see her! She played for 2 hours and 45 minutes and even though I was totally sick that night it was well worth it....I loved every minute. The only disappointing moment was at the end, outside she didn't stop or even acknowledge the few fans outside by the bus (there was only about 10 of us out there) she just walked fast and got on the bus. :( I know she must have been tired because she put on one heck of a show, but she could have at least acknowledge us and waved or something. Overall great show....Please come back to the DPAC!
