Totally agree....my favorite also!!

Im surprised to say this was even more moving than Heart Of A Woman but seeing it live will be a comparison.

They are not - the quality is shit and I am really beating myself up for not having the courage to take in my big SLR. They did not even look at me as I walked in and I could have so easily got away with it. We were sitting upstairs and I was able to crouch at the front and lean my camera on the balcony so I could have got amazing shots.

Considering these were taken with a small point and shoot and considering we were upstairs, they are not too bad but I would have liked better.

Never mind - that will teach me to bottle it!

I had the same dilemma...sheould I take my DSLR or not....no security whatsoever which surprised me!!
Youre pics are great as it was a difficult venue to take pics in. Here is a link to some I took with a Panasonic Lumix....great little camera!!!

Katz - your photos are amazing. Were you right up front? We were up on the first floor balcony and considering where we were, I thought my photos were ok.

Funnily enough, I nearly bought the Leica camera which is the same as the Panasonic Lumix but in the end I opted for the Canon S90 which has all the manual controls. I do photography for a living and usually use either my Canon 5D's or 1D which are awesome cameras. The only problem with them is that they are bulky and, by the time, you have the Speedlite on it, they are pretty difficult to conceal.

If Melissa does another concert there again, given the poor security levels, I will definitely try to smuggle my SLR in although, knowing my luck, I will be caught by a jobsworth who is unbribable.

Wonderful wonderful concert. The London crowd (which sometimes can be slow to burn) got into the gig from the get go from back to front. This was my favourite London gig I have seen her play.

One of my favourite things, Melissa saying. 'I am just half way through my career - there are so many things I still have to do, like have a hit song in England', love it and yes Melissa London does love you.

Very nice Ucie!!! I understand how you may be hard on yourself, like most of us are about our own work, BUT..... it is nice to have shots taken for us to see that don't jus show us a gopher's eye view, that's mostly what I have and many others because we are so close, even the shot where you can see a shadow version of the front row is cool, when usually we don't like to see someone else's hands or heads in our shots!
I was looking at these and was thinking you could make a whole calander out of these shots!
Very NICE, it's okay to be hard on yourself, it makes you better, but once again, NICE work!!!!!

Thanks...yes I was at the front and had an amazing view. The camera made it even easier. Ive got a Canon 50D and have the same prob as you with size and stuff. I was amazed at the total lack of security and wished I had taken a chance. Still I think we have a great record of the concert and I havent stopped looking at the pics since
