yeah the excitement leading up to the shows is fabulous...then there is the frenzied feeling of wanting another show but your bank statement says nooooo. :bawling: But you can live through the next bunch of concert goers like I am living through you!!! Or you can wait for your friends to win the powerball and take you on tour  or you can say PLEEEEEASSSSEEE MELISSA PLAY IN TORONTO

Awesome show in ATL last night!!! I'm back home in Asheville, NC, and still on a Melissa high! :o)

My seats were pretty good, 7th row on the left'ish side of the row. However, the temptation to be nearer the 'pit' called, and WOW!!! The ushers were so nice not to shoo me back to my seat! I stood at the left side of the stage for the last 2/3 of the show!! Just AMAZING!!!!!

Fabulous show last night in ATL!!! I hadn't seen Melissa since 2000, and she has not lost one bit of passion. If anything, she has more passion and heart than ever!!!

I particularly enjoy her banter and sharing a bit of herself with her audience! I was really touched when she thanked her fans for spending our hard earned money to come out and see her, as well as when she gave the introduction to & then played "I Run for Life". As a fairly recent survivor of cancer (leiomyosarcoma - rare smooth muscle malignancy) - diagnosis in 2008 and surgery following radiation in 2009 - that song touches me deeply.

Thank you, kypride, for posting the pics!! They are wonderful!!!

You were close to me then. I was 6th row center. I think you may have been sitting behind me to my left a little bit. Do you wear glasses by any chance?

kypride....

nope...well..I wasn't wearing my glasses last night (farsighted I am...wear 'em while reading and computering)!

I was the large, red-headed girl with a purple skirt & black t shirt....had my hair in 2 ponytail bun type things (too hottttt for this mountain girl in ATL!!). Also, my seat was wayyyyy left of the stage ..seats 31 & 32!! I stood on the left side of the stage for most of the show!! :peace:

Sorry we did not get to officially meet! I was so focused on the concert, I barely paid attention to anyone around me!!

A friend of mine took some pictures, and she will probably upload them to FB soon! I can't wait to see what she captured - she is a fabulous photographer. The woman who was sitting with me is from the MEIN forum, and she was taking photos and video! So...there will be lots of mementos of the ATL "Fearless Love" show!!

Once the show started thats all I was focused on. Before the show though I was looking around the venue. Walked around with Kathleen and her daughter for a little bit then we settled in.

The way it was laid out, I don't think there was a bad seat in the house.
My sister, her lover and I were in the mezinine 42, 43 & 45.
Loved seeing all of the women there, electric!!

So glad "I Run for Life" is back in the set list. Many of us are walking in the 3 Day For a Cure in many of the cities you have concerts in this year, Boston, Cleveland, Atlanta, Chicago, St Paul, Denver, San Diego, etc. It is 60 miles over the three days to raise money for breast cancer research, treatment, and detection. It is so nice you are singing the song at concerts, it means so much to so many of us.

A couple of years ago when gas prices were $4 to $5 per gallon you were nice to thank the audience for coming to your concerts with the high price of gas and this year you are also thanking the audience for spending their hard earned money to come to your concerts which is nice, but why are the concert t-shirts so high priced? They are 400% to 500% over cost and with the price of tickets out of range for many fans. If you still have the bit older gentleman who is a retired Marine selling the shirts at your concerts please tell him hello from the retired Air Force member who bought a shirt from him a couple of years ago.

This was the BEST Atlanta show I've ever seen and I've seen most of them since 1992 with the exception of the 2nd and 3rd nights of the Lucky tour in 2004. What's up with ME doing Heart of a Woman in Nashville when we clearly asked for it in Atlanta? :taz: She's such a tease, huh? Hello to everyone standing next to the steps ME climbed to get on stage! What a rush. Next stop, Las Vegas. Can't wait for that set list!! 8-)

Does anyone know why Melissa did not touch hands with the audience? We see her every tour at least once or twice and If I am Lucky 3 times!! She has always shook hands or touched hands at the end of the show. I know that this tour she is doing it during "Gently We Row". But, no touching at this show....what's up with that? The show was still flawless!!! First Row Center Stage tickets were great!! Venue was great!! Got great pics!!! But, I did not get my personal touch!!! :clapping:

Im assuming its because she is doing hands at the beginning of the show. While she didnt do it in Atlanta, she did do hands after Like The Way I Do in Nashville.

I was thrilled she did it in Nashville, and I was even more thrilled she did Heaven On Earth and Ruins in Atlanta like I wanted :) I got lucky at both my shows.

Im surprised she didn't do it during Gently We Row. At 2 of the 3 shows I attended she ended with GWR and only one show AC NJ did she end with POMH and she didn't do hands but of course she did as she entered the venue touching fans and also during We Are The Ones so I guess she's mixing things up and doing it somewhere in the show...either at the beginning and/or end. If you get both they you are doubly blessed. :thumbs up: If it meant giving up hands to hear her sing POMH so be it!! :D

I'm thinking she didn't do hands at the end of either of the two shows I attended because some of the fans at the stage were a little "touchy-feely" with her. In Bethesda, one chick jumped up on stage and I noticed a few others kept tapping on her shoes and pants. In Atlanta, one woman actually rubbed her calf and got a crazy look from MLE, and again, I noted fans touching her shoes. I think it's possible that may have spooked her a little and hence she didn't venture out to do hands with them. Boundaries folks!!!!!!!!! We're lucky Melissa lets us get as close as she does! 8-)
