I cant tell you the setlist. We had good seats but I was able to get at the stage to where I was acutally leaning against it...with my elbows and stayed that way until the end! I got to shake melissa's hand at the end!! I can say I wont ever wash it again, but alas, I work at a hospital!!

She looked well...refreshed and no sign of a cold. She had been there a day or two so I think she was able to get some rest. She said she was in awe of the thunderstorms we had because they dont get them much in LA

I dont know if anyone saw me. I was wearing a gray shirt that said "Scars are like tattoos but have better stories" on the back.

that show rocked ! good crowd, melissa was sooo awesome, and beautiful, i thought it was cute the way she was using her guitar as a dance partner during that {dance song} and she casually turned it back to face the the audience again before getting to carried away with it lol....... i was on the left side center {3rd row}, what side of stage were you at? she sang "piece of my heart" at the end, so you know she was feeling good

I don't know if I saw you Jake's mom, but I love your tshirt!! I was wearing a Quebec Harley Davidson tshirt and a Texas Longhorn hat, made it to the stage as well. Yes, the show was incredible! Glad you enjoyed it. 2 week break going to Lowell, MA!

did you all notice the difference in ages? We had some people that I swear were in their 60's sitting next to us.

I think I do remember you with the hat! It sounds very familiar!

Charlotte was awesome. Sorry I didn't get to see you Jakesmom. I wanted to rush the stage, but I figured in my condition, I better stay put in my seat (or at least standing by it, lol). It will take a bit to form thoughts and gather a review. I am in DC, still up at 6am after her show last night. All I can say, it that woman is stronger than ever and ROCKED the house.

I am just home from the DC show last night and can confirm that it was totally fabulous and that Melissa looked wonderful and completely rocked the house, sing her heart out and teeming with energy. We were in the 9th row on Fritz's side of center. Got some good pictures but I haven't yet downloaded them.

We also had a great variety of ages in the audience. Since I am 66 and pushing 67 and my husband is pushing 69 we were among the up theres, but we sang and rocked right along with the adorable young couple(women) in front of us who must have been mid twenties. I think that our audience exemplified that "there is no us and them"...saw other straight couples, blacks whites ....diversity in action. We also had the Pride for Obama people outside the concert collecting signatures.

Funny reversal of roles. We stayed in Vienna VA with our youngest son, who took care of our dogs along with his and who greeted us at the door when we returned from our rock concert.

I was very thrilled that she sang Imagine That and What Happens Tomorrow....along with some of my old favorites..Bring me some water, I want to come over ....and she also did Piece of my Heart as her last encore.

Wow, it'd been 4 years since I'd been able to see Melissa... I never in my life thought I'd get to meet her and despite how humble and sincere she is, I have to admit that I completely forgot my name and couldn't even look her in the eye because I was so nervous - not exactly how I imagined it! DARN ME lol... This show was just great. I wish I had been in a position to rush the stage, but I can't complain at all. I LOVED the increase in stories and flow that went with this show. I can't believe more people didn't stand up and dance until the end... people actually got mad because I asked my fiance to dance with me during a song.... So different than the outdoor venues, but intimacy has its price I guess.

I still don't think the impact of the show has hit me yet... I'm still in awe of the whole thing. She looked and sounded great!!!!! I can't wait for her to come back - it'd been too long.

WOW! As usual, what a Great show!!! My partner and I took our two nieces ( Kelli,12 and Megan 15) to their very first Melissa concert. They have grown up listening to her music and are both huge fans. When we told them that we were taking them to see Melissa, needless to say, they were VERY EXCITED! Their mother and one of our friends went also. Me, my partner, my 15 yr old niece(who just came out a few months ago) and our friend ended up with first row center seats!!! My 12 yr old niece and her mom were on the seventh row. Megan(15) was sitting next to me and before the show she kept saying...I can't believe this is real..I mean, she's gonna be RIGHT there....Oh my god...I'm gonna freak when she comes out here! Oh...and every five minutes...what time is it? How much longer? We laughed! About halfway thru the show Kelli and her mom made it up to the front with us. I pointed out my nieces to Melissa when she was at the edge of the stage and her eyes widened, she grinned and bent over and gave them one of those classic Melissa Hair tosses. A few songs later...ME walked over and gave Kelli(12) her guitar pick!!!! I was so hoping that one or both of them would get a pick! It was a very exciting moment and Kelli Immediately put that pick in her pocket for safe keeping. She's gonna frame it with her ticket stub and a photo. We did however have to contend with one very jealous 15 yr old,,,but she'll survive! My partner and I of 12 yrs have been to many Melissa shows, but this one will always be a very special memory for us. We got to see the show thru the eyes of our special girls,,,our babies. Thanks Melissa...U rock in many many ways!

Hey there. I got lots of pics and video from both the DC and Charlotte shows. Anyone interested or have something from the shows they'd like to share. Just PM me. I'm still working on getting 3 roles of pics done, and some longer video uploaded.. so there will be more to come.

BTW, is it totally against MEIN rules to post pics or links to albums on the board ? At one point is was highly frowned upon.
